Couriers you can work with on the eMAG platform
eMAG offers sellers the opportunity to choose their courier from the following four courier companies:
- Speedy
- Sameday
At the moment of setting up the courier accounts and before generating the first AWB from the eMAG Marketplace platform, you must send us the exact work or warehouse points addresses for your company through the Message Center. Once we receive the addresses, we will set them on the My Account menu, the Addresses section of your seller account. This will automatically complete the pick-up address when generating the AWB.
The process of generating AWB
The Orders menu holds all your registered orders. Each time you access a new order, its status will automatically turn from New to Received and move from the New orders tab to the In progress one.
To generate order AWB you must enter the Orders menu, to identify the specific order from the order list and press the Edit button from the last column.
It will open a new page with all the information regarding the selected order: order details, billing and delivery.
Go to the top of the page and press the Generate AWB button. Select the courier who is going to operate the order delivery.
⚠️ Attention: If the order was paid by Online card or Payment order, the Cash on delivery field of the AWB form will be filled in with 0. But if the order will be paid with Cash on delivery, then Cash on delivery field will contain the value of the order.
Press Confirm and it will automatically generate the AWB. In the AWB section of the order details page, you can have a view over the AWB number, the Parcel code, Issuing date, AWB status and the Status date.
After generating the order AWB you must fill in the courier specific sheet, using the credentials of your client courier account. This AWB sheet will announce the selected courier to come and pick up your parcels for delivery.
You can also issue the AWB for your order by clicking on the Generate AWB button down the page in the AWB section.
Once you use the options Edit or Show details, available in the Actions column, each new order will change its status to Received.
Using the Show details option, you can quickly generate the AWB once the order turns into Received status.
A new page with all the partner courier companies opens. Select the courier you want to operate the order delivery, fill in the fields with information afferent to the specific delivery and press Confirm.
Once you generated the AWB, it can be downloaded quickly right from the Actions column of order list. Click the Show details option next to the selected order and press the Download AWB button. The AWB form will be downloaded into your computer in PDF format.
⚠️Important: If you generated a wrong AWB, you could easily delete it by accessing the Logistics menu, the My deliveries section. Find the order with the wrong AWB and press Cancel AWB from the drop down menu.
How to generate AWB for multiple packages on the same order
When the products that a customer has ordered cannot be packed in the same package, you must pack them separately, to be able to deliver them in optimal conditions. So, if you must prepare several bulky products or products that require individual packaging, you will have to prepare separate packages. Generating the AWB, when you have several packages on the same order, can be done in two ways:
Generating a single AWB for both packages
- Access the Orders menu from the Dashboard and edit the order you want to complete. Go to the AWB section and click the Generate AWB button.
- Select the courier who will deliver the products. In the Order Information section, fill in the field Number of Packages with the number of packages you have prepared for this order.
- Click the Confirm button and the AWB displayed in the AWB section will be generated automatically.
Generate AWB for each package
- Access the Orders menu from the Dashboard and edit the order you want to complete. Go to the AWB section and click the Generate AWB.
- Select the courier and fill in, in the Order Information section, the amount of the refund that the customer will pay for one of the parcels.
💡 Tip: It is advisable to complete the value of the product(s) in the package so as not to risk selling at a loss when the customer receives one of the packages and changes his mind about the second package.
⚠️ Important: If the payment will be made by online card or by Payment Order, the Refund field will be filled in with 0.
- Click on the Confirm button and the AWB displayed in the AWB section will be generated automatically.
- Click the Generate AWB button again, select the courier and fill in the amount the customer must pay for the second package. Click the Confirm button and the AWB displayed in the AWB section for the second package will be generated automatically.
How to add AWB link for orders issued through couriers not integrated into the eMAG Marketplace platform
Tracking order status is one of the most important aspects of the customer’s shopping experience. Therefore, in order to ensure traceability throughout the entire order process, the eMAG Marketplace platform requires you to issue an AWB using one of the couriers integrated into the platform.
If the specific characteristics of the products do not allow this, such as in the case of oversized products, there is an option to enter the AWB link generated by a courier company external to the eMAG Marketplace platform in the order, so that the customer can access the information.
How do you add the external AWB link?
When you process the order, you will see the option Add external AWB.
If the option is not active for your account and you don`t see this button, you can write to us in the Message Center section, and if you meet the necessary conditions, the option will be activated.
