What information you can see in the My Offers – Legal Compliance section
The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) came into force on December 13, 2024, and represents the European Union’s legal framework that ensures the safety of all non-food consumer products and requires manufacturers, distributors, and online retailers to provide clear safety information to all consumers in the European Union.
Completing compliance data is mandatory to continue selling products on eMAG Marketplace.
This page helps you quickly identify products that require your intervention and complete the necessary information for legal compliance.
How to manually complete GPSR data (for a single offer)
- Access the My Offers – Legal Compliance section
On this page you can edit:
- Information required by GPSR (manufacturer details and EU responsible person)
- Safety information (warnings and cautions regarding product use)
In the upper part of the page you will find the filter area that helps you find more easily the product for which you want to complete or update this information. Or you can use the two buttons:
Compliant – filters all offers that already have completed GPSR details and safety information
Not Compliant – displays all offers for which:
- Both GPSR data and safety information are missing
- At least one of these data sets is missing
Also, if you access the “Active offers without GPSR info” widget – all active offers that you need to review will be automatically listed below.
2. Identify the offer and press the Edit button next to it
Through this action you access the offer detail page, where you will be able to complete the two sections:
GPSR Contact:
- Manufacturer details – name, postal address and email address of the manufacturer
- EU responsible person details – name, postal address and email address of the responsible person in the EU within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020
⚠️ Attention, all fields are mandatory to complete.
You can add up to 10 sets of fields with information for manufacturer and EU responsible person, using the blue + button.
After you finish completing the information, press the Save button.
Safety Information:
Here you will mention all product warnings or any existing cautions that accompany the product (e.g. Do not swallow, keep out of reach of children, choking hazard, etc.). After you finish completing the information, press the Save button.
⚠️Warning: If the offer is in Blocked status (for reasons such as required information/documents not yet provided, intellectual property infringement, product health), you will not be able to edit the safety information.
How to complete GPSR data for multiple offers simultaneously (Bulk Edit)
- Select the offers that require the same update.
- Make sure the offers are from the same platform and are not blocked.
- Press the Bulk Edit button.
A warning message will be displayed, informing you that simultaneous editing of the selected offers will overwrite any existing data in the categories of the selected products.
- Complete the necessary information for all selected offers.
- Save the changes after careful data verification.
Recommendations
- Check the offer status before and after modification.
- Review all fields before saving.
- In bulk mode, double-check the offer selection.
- Do not leave the page without confirming the saving of changes.
