Here is a short outline of the most relevant operational elements to take into account in these last days of preparations:
When do you have to deliver Black Friday Bulgaria orders?
- Customers will be looking forward to the products ordered on Black Friday, and we want them to arrive in optimal time, therefore, the commitment to customers is that all orders placed in the Black Friday campaign will be in their possession until November 30.
- This term established for all the offers uploaded in the campaign will be communicated to all customers who will place orders on Black Friday.
- Thus, it is necessary that all orders registered in the Campaign be finalized by November 27.
Which flows will be restricted during Black Friday?
1. The eMAG.bg website
- Today November 14, starting at approximately 10:00 p.m., the emag.bg website will become unavailable.
- The site will become functional again in the morning of November 15, with the start of the Black Friday campaign.
- After the end of the campaign, on the evening of Friday, November 15, the site will become unavailable again and we will resume the activity starting on Saturday morning.
2.API flows
- API routes will be completely closed between Thursday, November 14, at 9:00 p.m. and Friday, November 15, at 10:00 a.m.
- On Friday, November 15th, Api flows will be limited to 1 req/6 sec or 10 req/min. The feeds will work in normal parameters.
- Starting from Friday, at 2:00 p.m., the API limits will return to the usual ones: 1 req/3 sec or 20 req/min.
3.Product listing
- Listing and updating products will not work between November 14, 8:00 p.m. and November 15, 11:00 a.m.
4. eMAG Ads
- During the first hour of the Black Friday campaign, eMAG Ads will not work, afterwards, the Ads campaigns will start automatically.
What operations can you do on the Black Friday offers?
- You can reduce the prices of products from the Campaign – In Black Friday you will be able to reduce the price of the offers even more, using a special file.
- You can supplement the stocks – If you still have stocks for the offers that run out faster, you can ask for the replenishment of the stock for the campaign products via Message center. It is important to make sure you have enough stock to avoid any complaints from customers.
- For products that do not participate in the campaign, you can perform price and stock updates through the usual flows.
What stocks will you have on the platform starting with Saturday?
- For the products that were included in Black Friday – After Black Friday, the stocks you will have available for the products that participated in the campaign will be the stocks left unsold from those reserved for Black Friday. Example:
- Your stock for a product participating in Black Friday is 60 pieces, but in the Black Friday file you complete a stock of only 30 pieces.
- On Black Friday, only the 30 pieces will be available for sale.
- In the Black Friday campaign, you sell 25 pieces.
- At the end of the campaign, the remaining stock available for your product will be 5 pieces. That is, 30 (the stock reserved for Black Friday) – 25 (the stock sold on Black Friday) = 5 pieces left available on the platform.
- For products that were not included in Black Friday – Stocks will decrease as usual.
